The members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) are a
network of more than 6,000 committed zoo and aquarium professionals,
organizations and suppliers world-wide. All share a commitment to
wildlife conservation, education, science and animal care.
AZA also welcomes public members who support the conservation work of zoos and aquariums.
AZA offers a number of membership levels for both individuals and for
organizations. Each one is tailored to provide a combination of
products and services to meet your needs. Eligibility for some levels
depends upon meeting specific requirements.
AZA members must respect the dignity of the animals in our care, the
people we serve, and other AZA members. Prospective members should read
the Code of Ethics before submitting an application. Each application requires a signature of commitment to the Code of Ethics.
