The Associate Veterinarian for FMASSC assists in managing all aspects of animal medical care and animal health management for the Freeport McMoRan Audubon Species Survival Center (FMASSC), which includes the Alliance for Sustainable Wildlife and the Audubon Center for Research of Endangered Species.
To deliver on the Audubon mission, the Associate Veterinarian for FMASSC will:
Provide a guest experience of outstanding quality.
Enhance the care and survival of wildlife through research and conservation.
including, but not limited to providing veterinary coverage and expertise support in collaboration at all Audubon facilities.
Operate a financially self-sufficient collection of museums and parks.

To deliver on the Audubon service promise, the Associate Veterinarian will:
Supervision: This position is a direct report to the Senior Veterinarian. This position manages the health management corps and duties of the FMASSC. This position supervises, manages, and coordinates veterinary technician(s) in all facets of animal health management for the facility sites under its purview.
