Operations Manager
The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing and coordinating the day to day operations and services provided by the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s Billie Swamp Safari. The individual plans, manages, and coordinates the administrative and operating activities for the Billie Swamp Safari, identifying revenue opportunities and ensuring efficient planning and coordination of use of materials and human resources toward maximum productivity and services. Bachelor’s Degree with major course work in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or Wildlife related field is required. A master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a managerial capacity managing the operations of a business entity is required. An equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered. United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and/or State Animal Permits holder is preferred. Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Must demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office Software. Must have the ability to travel locally and nationally. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
