Senior Housekeeper

Responsibilities: Under general supervision, provides operational support to the housekeeping staff while also carrying out routine housekeeping duties. The Senior Housekeeper will act as the day-to-day, hands-on, direct support for the Housekeeping Department staff. Oversees, and participates in, carrying out cleaning schedules to ensure Riverbank’s facilities are maintained at a high level of cleanliness. Works with other Seniors to ensure effective communication is maintained and routine and project work is performed. Operates various cleaning equipment and tools to perform tasks. The Senior Housekeeper will assist the Environmental Services Manager with various administrative tasks and provide training to new staff. Reports to the Environmental Services Manager.
Education and Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age with a HS diploma. Some college education and previous supervisory experience preferred, or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must demonstrate professionalism, customer service experience, leadership skills and strong communication skills. Must be available to work weekdays and weekends. Must be available to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, holidays, 1st and 2nd shift. Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, be able to lift 50lbs. and be able to walk long distances repetitively. Must possess a valid S.C. driver's license.
Salary
$12.00/hr.
