Donate to the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) in any of these ways:
SAFE combines the resources and collective expertise of AZA members and partners with the power of zoo and aquarium visitors to save animals from extinction and invites you to join the effort.
Established in 1984, the Conservation Grants Fund (previously called the Conservation Endowment Fund, or CEF) supports the cooperative conservation-related scientific and educational initiatives of AZA, AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums, and their collaborators. Since 1991, the CGF has provided more than $7 million to nearly 390 projects worldwide. This is made possible through the generous donations of members and institutions.
Donate now to the Employee Relief Fund to support employees of AZA members when natural disasters and tragic events occur. The Fund began in 2017, when Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma severely impacted members in Texas and Florida. AZA collected more than $170,000 to contribute back to AZA member zoos and aquariums in these regions. Donate now to support members when they need it most.
Donate now to support AZA's work to reduce, and eventually eliminate, the illegal trade of wildlife and wildlife products. Wildlife trafficking is an international crisis that has devastating impacts to both animals and humans. The Wildlife Trafficking Alliance joined forces with AZA in 2018.
Donate now to help AZA Reduce the Risk of future pandemics by combating wildlife trade that poses a risk to human and animal health.
