Dickerson Park Zoo Temporarily Closed

Springfield, MO – To help protect the public amid ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, Dickerson Park Zoo will be closed effective Thursday, March 19, and will remain closed through at least April 1.

While the zoo is closed to the public, the dedicated zookeepers and animal health staff will continue to provide exceptional care for the animals. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention has not received any reports of wildlife or animals in human care becoming ill with COVID-19.

During this temporary closure, please follow Dickerson Park Zoo on social media as we bring the zoo to you through videos and photos of the animals.
