Building Networks: Developing Empathy in Aquarium and Zoo Visitors

Since 2015, three Pacific Northwest institutions - Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, Wash., the Seattle Aquarium in Seattle, Wash., and Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium in Tacoma, Wash. - have been working together to improve our understanding and capacity for empathy. They are now embarking on an empathy-network building effort to make sure all who are interested can benefit, and build, on this work.
