Save the Date for the 2020 In-Person and Virtual Annual Conference, September 13-17, in Columbus, Ohio, hosted by the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
Each year, the Association of Zoos and Aquariums Annual Conference brings together the zoo and aquarium community to explore ideas, innovations and best practices. During these unprecedented times, this year’s Annual Conference will look different. AZA will be offering a virtual Annual Conference experience, in addition to the live, in-person experience. The safety of our attendees, participants and staff will continue to be our primary concern and we are working closely with our partners in Columbus. We will follow recommended guidelines and adjust the conference plans as needed.
As plans are still taking shape, we will share more information in the coming weeks. The AZA Annual Conference will still bring together a community that continues to care and find a path forward. Together we will explore, learn, and connect with one another, no matter what form that may take.
Interested in speaking at the Annual Conference? The Call for Papers deadline was Friday, May 15. Submitters will be notified of the Program Committee's decision by mid-June.
Registration will open in early June.
