Biomaterials Banking Scientific Advisory Group

The mission of the Biomaterials Banking Scientific Advisory Group (BBAG) is to develop cooperative relationships between AZA, its Animal Programs, its accredited institutions, and the scientific community and provide technical advice pertaining to biomaterials and banking strategies.

The BBAG advises the AZA Animal Population Management (APM) Committee, Conservation Department, and Animal Program Leaders on issues related to various biomaterials and banking issues. It is overseen by the APM Committee.
