2016 Report Shows AZA-Accredited Zoos and Aquariums’ Record-Breaking Contribution to Wildlife Conservation

The Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) announced that AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums contributed over $216 million last year to wildlife conservation, exceeding the $200 million dollar mark for the first time. AZA Disappointed by Mexico City’s Ban on Marine Mammal Exhibits

Silver Spring, Maryland – On August 1, the Legislative Assembly of Mexico City, Mexico, voted to ban exhibitions featuring marine mammals.
