The December 2018 Sustainability Designations list for AZA Animal Programs is now available! Please visit the Animal Programs Resources section of the AZA website to download the full listing.
The November/December special issue of the Animal Keepers' Forum is dedicated to population management. PMC staff, AZA staff, many Adjunct Population Biologists, and some Program Leaders were all authors on various articles. This issue is targeted to the individuals on the front line of cooperative population management programs and addresses the role of the keeper in sustainable animal populations in zoos and aquariums around the globe. You can buy a copy through the American Association of Zoo Keepers’ website.
Please visit the AZA calendar to find the current list of workshops, meetings, and training opportunities that are of interest to Animal Program participants and other zoo and aquarium professionals. To add to this list, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
