This position reports to the Director of Facilities and Capital projects and is responsible for the maintenance, repair and safe and efficient operation of the Minnesota Zoo’s buildings, grounds, vehicles and equipment. It will also be involved in the planning and coordination of new construction and facility or grounds modifications.
The position supervises 3 subordinate supervisors who are responsible for directing the work of 30 to 50 full-time, part-time and seasonal employees.
Bachelor’s degree in facility management, construction engineering, or a highly related field
Certification as a Facilities Manager (such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM); Facilities Management Certificate (FMC) or similar)
plus a minimum of five years of experience in facilities management of a large multi-unit facility
This position requires a current Driver's License.
