Participates in the exhibit development and production process as a member of the Science Behind Pixar project team and under the direction of senior design staff. Creates a complete and accurate set of Computer Aided Design drawings representing the sum total design of the Science Behind Pixar project, built from physical, graphic, and technical design elements. Supports a collaborative teamwork environment within the Science Behind Pixar team, the Education Division, and the Museum of Science as a whole.
• Support the Science Behind Pixar project, a 10,000 square foot traveling exhibit.
This position is grant-funded, full-time, 40 hours/week, through May 1, 2014.
Manager, Exhibit Design
• Post high school course work, technical degree, associates degree or business certificate preferred.
• More than one year of industrial design, architecture or furniture fabrication experience.
• Exhibit design experience preferred.
Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.
