Responsible for promoting, maximizing sales in assigned territories, servicing accounts and ensuring high customer satisfaction, and positive long-term relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following: (Other duties may be assigned)


Manage and develop Business Sales and TIS accounts as assigned per territory.

Implement effective and productive business development plan including ongoing sales calls and sales training scheduled to top producing clients for SWC/Aquatica San Diego.

Planning and execution of all aspects of the sales process including negotiations, contracting, and tradeshow presence.

Professional representation at business functions.

Seek key opportunities for exposure that leverages the communication chain and distribution of assigned accounts.

Monitor competitive positioning within the segment, including benchmarking on programs (versus our own) to maximize sales.

Make timely and strategic recommendations.

Oversee/manage team, expenses and budget

Partner with Corporate Sales team for SWC/Aquatica San Diego initiatives.


2-3 years of travel industry sales, marketing, and hospitality experience or at least a 5 year combination of work / education experience.

Ability to sell at all levels in a guest centric organization.

Must have proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory.

Must have the ability to establish and create relationships at all levels with clients and prospect organizations.

Possess high-level presentation and communication skills, with the ability to convey important ideas and concepts to senior management as well as group training and industry missions with high level executives and clients.

Possess the ability to self-start and work independently as well as in a team environment.

Must have strong knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Outlook).

Foreign language skills a plus.

Possess excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Must have the ability to analyze trends and make strategic recommendation regarding assigned territory.


Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and experience.
