Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® is pleased to announce a unique vocational opportunity in elephant care.  The next training session is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2013 and will conclude on November 7, 2013.  

This training program will expose trainees to experienced elephant care professionals and veterinarians in both free and protected contact environments.  The 10-week course includes classroom and hands-on instruction with Asian elephants.  This is a paid training program.  Housing and transportation to and from the elephant center will be provided

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a desire to work with large exotic animals plus a spirit of adventure and a passion for travel. This training program targets persons who possess an interest in touring with the Greatest Show on Earth®

Successful graduates of the program may be eligible for employment opportunities in the animal departments of one of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® traveling units.
