The Living Desert is seeking a skilled, personable, dynamic professional to initiate, lead and manage all aspects of guest services at The Living Desert. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, the Director of Park Services/Guest Relations provides oversight to dept. managers to maximize quality, effectiveness and revenue of all programs and services offered here. The Director will lead all aspects of division operations including admissions, membership, and park attractions.
Secondary focus is the oversight, direction, and leadership of our Marketing/Advertising/Public Relations and Private Events depts. as well as managing operational relationships w/food & beverage, merchandise, and other guest service contractors.
QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree in marketing, business, hospitality and/or management is preferred. Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of five years' management experience in a service related industry, and have knowledge of tourism and guest service best practices.
