The Oklahoma City Zoological Park is looking for a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and motivated individual who will, under general direction, plan and coordinate all operations of Visitor Services including merchandise, rides, attractions, rentals, vending, admissions, recruitment and hiring, and the training of a large temporary seasonal workforce. This position provides a safe experience for Zoo guests and staff while providing a high standard of customer service and generating revenue to support the Zoo and its mission. The ideal candidate must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Zoo employees at all levels, vendors, and the general public. This individual must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to use a combination of experience and interpersonal skills to function effectively as a leader in a team environment. Requirements: Experience equivalent to four years full time customer service or customer relations work, at least two years of which were at a supervisory/managerial level; OR an Associate degree in Business/Public Administration or closely related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
The minimum salary for this position is $40,872.00 (annualized) plus excellent benefits.
