GEICO to Become Proud Partner of America's Zoos and Aquariums
Sept 26, 2007Silver Spring, MD, September 26, 2007 – The Association of
Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) and GEICO (Government Employees Insurance
Company) have announced a strategic partnership to promote zoo and
aquarium wildlife conservation. The announcement took place at AZA's
83rd Annual Convention in Philadelphia.

be a powerful spokescreature for our auto and motorcycle insurance
products. Now he's taking on an additional assignment to help promote
the wildlife conservation work done by zoos and aquariums across

Three-Year Partnership will Feature Traveling GEICO Gecko Exhibit
The three-year partnership will feature a traveling Gecko exhibit to
appear at AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums in the U.S., contributions
to wildlife conservation, GEICO participation on AZA's Earth Day Party
for the Planet™, and special in-person and television appearances by
the Gecko on behalf of his wild cousins.
