Briefing on Zoo and Aquarium Oiled Wildlife Rescue Efforts

MD– The Association of Zoos and
Aquariums (AZA) is holding a briefing that will feature national and Gulf region
experts who will provide up-to-date information from the front lines of the
wildlife rescue and rehabilitation effort.
The Deepwater Horizon oil
spill is impacting sea turtles, birds, marine mammals, and many other endangered
species. Over 50 AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums are responding with resources
and expertise.
