Take advantage of all your AZA member benefits! Please read the AZA Membership FAQs to answer common member inquiries. 

My AZA on

All members have a profile with AZA that can be accessed by logging into their "My AZA" online account. The online account allows members to manage their contact information, web password, and renewing membership using a credit card. Simply login to your “My AZA” account (upper right-hand area of the AZA home page) using your primary email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, simply follow the link and instructions to reset it. Still have questions – email AZA Member Services.

AZA Network

Connect with peers on AZA's zoo and aquarium social community! Your “My AZA Network” is the hub of shared resources, discussions and connect with AZA members. Access your AZA Network, login to your “My AZA” account (upper right-hand area of the AZA home page) using your primary email address and password. Once logged in, select AZA Network on the left-hand navigation. Once in the AZA Network, be sure to set your notification preferences, content alerts and select "Groups" to connect with other colleagues of like interests.

The AZA Marketplace

A major element of the AZA Network is the Marketplace, an online searchable buyers’ guide, allowing users to easily search product and service providers unique to the zoo and aquarium community. The Marketplace is an important element of the AZA Advantage suite of tools and services AZA provides the community in procuring service providers, tools and technology right at the click of their mouse.

The AZA Marketplace is interactive and always up to date. Get reliable information fast, download company v-cards, map company locations, save your searches for later, click through directly to company websites and even reach out directly to the decision maker at each company in order to eliminate wasted time and hassle. It is a completely searchable database that will allow you, our zoo and aquarium professionals, to very easily find a company that fit your unique needs! You can now easily connect with companies via the Marketplace who are offering products and services that align with your current projects and plans.

Free or Discounted Admissions

Professional Members of AZA may use their AZA membership for free or discounted admissions to AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums. This benefit is available to Professional Associate, Professional Affiliate, Professional Fellow and Student members only. Not all institutions participate in this program, so be sure to check the list before you visit. It's always a good idea to call BEFORE you visit.

Cooperative Purchasing

Exclusive to AZA member zoos, aquariums and related facilities: benefit from discounts on products and services through AZA Smart Source.  Learn more about nationally-negotiated Purchasing Partner programs that can help lower operating costs and offer enhanced benefits not available individually.  Whether your purchasing is managed centrally or individual employee are allowed to place orders, the Smart Source website offers an easy interface to vendors that support our industry.

Find Products and Services

From nutritious animal diets to sophisticated admissions software – and everything in between – AZA provides resources for finding the products and services that your zoo or aquarium needs.

Mailing List Rentals

Keep the zoo and aquarium community in touch with your organization’s events, actions and efforts in science, education and conservation news. Mailing labels may be purchased for one-time use only. Learn more about the Mailing List Rentals.

Online Member Directory

The AZA online Member Directory is a searchable and completely up-to-date database that includes key contact information about organization and individual members. This benefit is currently available online with listings of AZA Professional Affiliate, Professional Fellow, Professional Retired, Student, Conservation Partner, and Commercial Members. Members of each of these categories may view the AZA online Member Directory and receive a listing. Professional Associate members may view the Directory but do not receive a listing.

Order A New Flag

AZA-accredited Institutions receive a flag with the AZA logo to fly at the entrance.  If your Institution's flag has seen better days, order a new one.

Request Changes to A Current Membership

Update Your Membership Record

Some information may be updated directly to your record by logging into your "My AZA" account (upper right-hand area of the AZA home page) using your primary email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, simply follow the link and instructions to reset it. Once in your My AZA Account profile, you can manage your contact information and reset your password.

If you’ve recently moved organizations or had a name or title change, please contact AZA’s Membership Services Department at the information below to update your membership record.

Upgrade Your Membership

Eligible AZA members who work at an AZA-accredited zoo or aquarium and have either a Professional Associate or Professional Affiliate level may upgrade membership. To learn how, contact AZA's Membership Services Department.
