Free or Discounted Admissions
Members of AZA may use their AZA membership for free or discounted admissions to AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums . Not all institutions participate in this program, so be sure to check the list before you visit. It's always a good idea to call BEFORE you visit.
Cooperative Purchasing
Exclusive to AZA member zoos, aquariums and related facilities: benefit from discounts on products and services through AZA Smart Source. Learn more about nationally-negotiated Purchasing Partner programs that can help lower operating costs and offer enhanced benefits not available individually. Whether your purchasing is managed centrally or individual employee are allowed to place orders, the Smart Source website offers an easy interface to vendors that support our industry.
AZA Listserv Groups
AZA hosts hundreds of discussion boards, also known as listservs, to encourage networking and conversation of individuals with like interests. Members are encouraged to become involved in these groups to share interests and learn from your peers. AZA listservs are reserved for members only and require an AZA Member Number to join.

Mailing List Rentals

Online Member Directory
The AZA online Member Directory is a searchable and completely up-to-date database that includes key contact information about organization and individual members. This benefit is currently available online to Professional Affiliate, Professional Fellow and Commercial Members.

Copies of the 2012 Member Directory, in CD-Rom format, are still available. Features include more environmentally friendly packaging, a variety of searches, the ease of launching web site URLs and e-mail addresses from live links, and the ability to print as little, or as much as desired.
The Directory includes:
- Statistical data from AZA-accredited zoos and aquariums.
- Facts on attendance, budget and operations, admission, membership figures - and listings of key staff contacts!
- 2,500 individual member colleagues (Professional Fellow, Professional Affiliate, Retired, Honorary members).

Order A New Flag
AZA-accredited Institutions receive a flag with the AZA logo to fly at the entrance. If your Institution's flag has seen better days, order a new one.

Upgrade Your Membership
Eligible AZA members who work at an AZA-accredited zoo or aquarium and have either a Professional Associate or Professional Affiliate level may upgrade membership. To learn how, contact AZA's Membership Services Department.
