Buttonwood Park Zoo features over 250 animals and 30 exhibits, including elephants, bison, mountain lions, bears, eagles, seals, otters, farm animals and much more. Called “one of the finest small zoos in the United States” by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the Zoo also offers train rides and pony rides.

Franklin Park Zoo is a 72-acre site nestled within Boston's historic Franklin Park. Here, guests can experience one of the most innovative and intimate indoor gorilla exhibits in the world. Visitors to the signature Tropical Forest can stand face-to-face with the Zoo's seven western lowland gorillas at one of five glass viewing stations in the state-of-the-art indoor exhibit. It's a truly unforgettable experience! While at Franklin Park Zoo, be sure to also visit the African lion in the Kalahari Kingdom, the tigers in the Tiger Tales exhibit, the Masai giraffe and Grevy's zebra on the Giraffe Savannah, and the many other remarkable species that call the Zoo home.

Located on the Boston waterfront, the New England Aquarium is one of the most prominent and popular aquariums in the United States. Visitors can experience the world of water by visiting the Aquarium's 70+ exhibits, embarking on an Aquarium whale watch, or watching a movie in the Aquarium's Simons IMAX Theatre. Among the most popular exhibits are beautiful yet dangerous sea jellies (jellyfish), graceful seadragons, a huge and boisterous penguin colony and a multi-story replica of a Caribbean coral reef that features giant seaturtles, toothy sand tiger sharks and hundreds of coral reef fishes. In addition to the exhibit halls, the New England Aquarium is a pioneer in marine animal rescue and a leading ocean conservation organization with research scientists working around the globe.

For more than 100 years, Stone Zoo has delighted generations of visitors. This 26-acre site is home to black bears, Canada lynx, a snow leopard, Mexican gray wolves, river otters and many other fascinating animals from around the world. The Treasures of the Sierra Madre exhibit features jaguars, cougars, coyote, and Gila monsters. At Windows to the Wild, view hyacinth macaws, flamingos, meerkats and many other species.
