WHAT: Huey Lewis and the News announced to headline ZOOFARI 2013 presented by Wells Fargo Advisors on June 21 at the Saint Louis Zoo. “The Power of Love,” which this rock, rhythm and blues band wrote for the hit film “Back to the Future,” went to #1 on the Billboard singles chart and was nominated for an Academy Award. Other hits include “Heart and Soul” and “If This Is It.”

ZOOFARI is the Zoo’s biennial creative black-tie fundraiser, at which party-goers can graze from more than 50 restaurants, caterers and bars, bid on spectacular items at the silent auction and dance under the stars. Chairing the event are Barbara Archer and Steven Schankman. Honorary chairs are Danny and Susan Ludeman.

DETAILS: Ages 21 and up only. Individual reservations are $225/general public; $175/Zoo Friends members.
