2nd International Symposium on Zoo Animal Welfare

Jun 5 - Jun 6, 2013Chicago, ILPlease save the date: The Chicago Zoological Society’s Center for the Science of Animal Welfare is hosting its 2nd International Symposium on Zoo Animal Welfare. The symposium will take place at Brookfield Zoo. Leading welfare researchers from a variety of disciplines will gather to discuss future directions for zoo animal welfare science. Zoo professionals will be able to foster connections with researchers investigating laboratory, farm, and companion animal welfare. A pre-symposium workshop will be offered on June 4 for those interested in participating in a hands-on training session for WelfareTrak (a separate registration fee applies).
