The Audubon Zoo's Hoofstock Department is accepting applications for the spring and summer zookeeper internship program. Internships run a minimum of 12 weeks and are unpaid. This internship will provide practical hands on experience for those interested in the zookeeping field. Interns will work alongside the keeper staff learning animal care, exhibit upkeep, enrichment, record keeping, assisting with veterinary procedures, and public presentations.

Open to people 18 and up, who can work a minimum of 3 days a week 8 hours a day for a minimum of 12 weeks. Schedules are flexible and more hours are available if desired. Applicants must be willing to work in all weather, lift 50lbs., and will need a current TB test.
