The National Aquarium is looking for a Conservation Technician to aide in the implementation of components of the Conservation Initiatives including the Chesapeake Bay Initiative and Wetland Nursery Program, plan and implement Conservation Department outreach activities and to provide technical and clerical assistance for the Conservation Department. Technical assistance includes collecting recording and disseminating data and clerical assistance includes correspondence, meeting and travel arrangements.Requirements for this position include a Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field with a strong background in wetland ecology, or equivalent experience. Must have proficient clerical skills, ability to perform work in various outdoor terrains and travel is required with possible extended stays, some evening and weekend work required.
