These three-month, non-paid internships occur in one of six departments; Cheetah, Carnivore, Village (small animals & primates), Ungulate, Elephant and Education departments. The Wildlife Safari offers an experience much like that of doing field conservation due to our large mixed species exhibits with 600 acres for the animals to roam. Wildlife Safari is also known for its top cheetah breed program with 173 cheetah births.

Requirements:

• Must have at least two years toward a college degree in an animal related field

• Preferred to have some animal related experience

• Personal vehicle and valid driver’s license

• Negative TB test

• Good people skills

• Able to speak to the public both individually and in a presentation setting

The internship is unpaid for a period of three months. Off-site housing is offered for a small fee (no pets allowed). Transportation is NOT provided. You may apply for more than one area. Please indicate which areas you are applying for internships as each area has different coordinators.

There are four sections of the internship: Winter (December-February), Spring (March-
