The Audubon Zoo's Hoofstock Department is accepting applications for the Fall internship program. Interns run a minimum of 12 weeks and are unpaid. This internship will provide practical hands on experience for those interested in the zookeeping field. Interns will work alongside the Hoofstock staff learning animal care, exhibit upkeeep, enrichment, record keeping, assisting with veterinary procedures, and public presentations for large hoofstock (including White Rhinos and Giraffe) and Canids.

This internship is open to people 18 years old and up, who can work a minimum of 3 days a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. Schedules are flexible and more hours may be available if desired. Applicants must be willing and able to work in all weather and lift 75 pounds.
