General Manager

Dolphin Quest Hawaii


Responsible for the successful operation and fulfillment of company animal care and program quality standards, successful business plan, and upholding Dolphin Quest’s conservation and education-focused mission, vision and values at Dolphin Quest Hawaii, with direction from its parent company, Quest Global Management.  


Experience and skill areas should include:  management of operations in a hospitality facility, strategic planning, site budget development and administration, employee management and development, community relations and global stewardship, legal compliance, excellent internal/external/verbal and written communications. This position will be responsible for maintaining an excellent working relationship with host resort management and elevating the customer service excellence of all Dolphin Quest Crew Members. Incumbent will be responsible for overseeing site staff in the areas of quality programming, animal management,  guest services, retail, productions, operations, education, administration and sales & marketing.  


Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Similar position or progressive experience in operations management for hotel, zoo, aquarium, or hospitality industry required. Animal-related knowledge or experience a plus. An innovative, solution-oriented and can-do attitude is essential. Ability to multi-task is critical. Excellent people skills. Proficiency with relevant business software systems.
