Zoo Atlanta is seeking an innovative professional to provide creative, energetic leadership of the organization’s fundraising efforts. Reporting to the Deputy Director, this individual will develop strategies and direct corporate and foundations solicitations, major gifts, sponsorships, in-kind giving, grant and proposal writing, capital/endowment campaigns, and Zoo Atlanta’s annual fundraising social events including a signature gala, The Beastly Feast.

We are seeking an individual with five or more years proven fundraising experience, and a demonstrated ability to raise significant corporate, foundation and individual gifts. Experience leading a development team in the Atlanta area and/or experience working with zoos, aquariums or museums will be considered a strong plus. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, with excellent communication and leadership skills. The ability to participate in a team-oriented organization and support Zoo Atlanta’s mission and strategic initiatives is critical.
