The Naples Zoo is seeking an experienced Hoofstock keeper. This position is full-time.

Duties include animal husbandry, operant conditioning and enrichment, as well as some diet preparation, record keeping, exhibit maintenance, public speaking and other duties as assigned by the General Curator. Candidates must have good observation and record keeping skills, an excellent safety record, a strong work history and be a team player as well as working on their own. This position requires the ability to lift 50 pounds, work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays. Successful candidates must maintain a valid driver’s license, have a recent negative TB test, and pass a drug test.

Applicants are required to have a 4 year college degree in Biology, Zoology, or related field: or an equivalent level of work experience and education as determined by the General Curator and at least 2 years working as a paid keeper in an AZA accredited institution.
