Seneca Park Zoo offers a highly competitive pre-vet fellowship for one college student every summer (June-August). The pre-vet fellow will assist the veterinary staff in all aspects of the veterinary care program, will complete a retrospective or cross-sectional research project jointly identified by the fellow and veterinary staff and will rotate through all animal care sections of the zoo. Minimum qualifications include completion of two years of pre-vet curriculum by the summer, at least 3.0 GPA and at least 100 hours of experience in both large animal and small animal traditional veterinary hospitals.
