Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus® and the Ringling Bros. Center for Elephant Conservation® are pleased to announce a unique learning opportunity in elephant care. The next intern session is scheduled to begin on February 26, 2012and will conclude on May 17, 2012.

Located at the Ringling Bros. CEC in central Florida, this program will expose interns to experienced elephant care professionals and veterinarians in both free and protected contact. The 12 week course includes classroom and hands-on instruction with some of the Asian elephants who reside at the Ringling Bros. CEC. This is a paid internship. Housing and transportation to and from the Ringling Bros. CEC will be provided.

Successful graduates of the program may be eligible for employment opportunities in the animal departments of one of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® traveling units.
